This band is absolutely perplexing to me. They are the mathiest of the math. The instrumentals are completely mind bending. Truly amazing stuff… But the vocals are god damn awful (with the exception of the clean ones). It’s funny because the phenomenal guitarist is the vocalist, adding a sense of irony to the mix. With talent like that, he can do whatever the hell he wants. I’ve just never had such incredible music induce a headache (just popped 2 Advil). But I figure some of you will enjoy the hell out of it so I’m posting it. City of Ifa have released 4 albums to date, all of which can be downloaded for FREE! (or some $$$). You can grab them all on Bandcamp. Highly recommended to all the Math heads.
