Matricide is one of the premiere bands coming out of Israel. They showed us their EP, “We Are Alive”, from a few years back, and I enjoyed what I heard. Blending together elements of Math Metal, Death Metal, and Hardcore, the band brings a heavy, energetic sound with their brand of music. Having shared the stage with bands such as Behemoth and Down, rumor has it they put on an awesome live show. Matricide is currently working on material for their full-length debut. Should be awesome. Keep an eye on these guys. But in the mean time, check out some tracks from “We Are Alive”.
