When Uneven Structure dropped “Februus” last year, it absolutely blew my mind to pieces. Immense and powerful, the album is damn near perfect. Combining atmosphere, technicality, musicianship, and genius at masterpiece levels, Uneven Structure built some of the biggest, most captivating soundscapes to ever bless my ears. “Februus” is easily in my top 5 releases for 2011. After a relatively successful album cycle over in Europe, my favorite Frenchmen are rumored to be back at it again. In a fairly recent tour announcement, they hinted to be writing new material for a second release. I can only imagine what to expect. All I know is my ears can’t wait for a second helping of Uneven Structure.
